💿 ana luisaaaaaa
is an open-format DJ/sound curator who grew up getting down in minitecas, reuniones, quinceaños and matrimonios in Caracas, Venezuela. For her friends, she's always been the go-to person to ask for the latest reggaeton or bachata tracks, and her brain is 90% old classics lyrics. She's been living in Toronto since 2015, where she started DJing last year. Ana thinks music is vital for migrant joy, so she spins to get sweaty, connect with people and reconnect with her roots.
She currently co-organizes Cuarenteca, a weekly online party, born out of the COVID-19 pandemic. Read the interview that Also Cool Mag made about our party.
